According to CCN sources, the agenda of the visit is still being formed, which may be adjusted after the newly elected US President Donald Trump takes office in the US. The exact date of Nayib Bukele's visit is also unknown.
Presumably, one of the key topics of the meeting at the state level will be cryptocurrencies, in particular, Bitcoin . El Salvador can offer the Russian Federation cooperation in the field of payments with digital assets, especially since the Russian Federation has already approved cross-border settlements in virtual coins.
In addition, it is planned to discuss the issue related to the development of digital infrastructure and nuclear energy. Let us recall that the Russian Finance Minister recently admitted that Bitcoin is already used by domestic companies to conduct cross-border payments with external counterparties.
