An anonymous user pledged 10,000 BTC during the Babylon Cap-3 mainnet staking period, worth over $1 billion
According to official sources, Babylon, a Bitcoin collateral agreement, reported that on December 15th, during the Cap-3 mainnet collateral period, an anonymous pledger pledged 10,000 Bitcoins worth over $1 billion through three transactions. Babylon stated that prior to this, the largest pledge amount came from entities such as the LST protocol and custodial institutions who wished to pledge on behalf of their users, but such a large pledge from an individual holds significant meaning for Babylon and its protocol. Previously, on December 17th, Babylon announced that the Cap-3 mainnet collateral had ended with a total pledged BTC value of over $6 billion.
