German tokenization firm Cashlink receives cryptocurrency custody license
According to a report from Ledger Insights, German tokenization company Cashlink Technologies has been granted a cryptocurrency custody license by the country's regulatory authority BaFin. The company already holds a cryptocurrency securities dealer license. Under German law, when issuing securities on a DLT, a dealer can be used instead of a central securities depository (CSD). With the new license, Cashlink can now manage private keys related to tokenized securities it is involved in issuing and registering.
