BTC-ETFs See Record Outflows After Bitcoin Crash

U.S. bitcoin exchange-traded funds saw a record $680 million in outflows in a single day on Thursday, ending a 15-day streak of inflows.

The record outflows coincided with the flagship asset falling to $96,000 after the US Federal Reserve chairman made a cautious forecast for further interest rate cuts.

According to SoSoValue, Fidelity's FBTC saw the biggest outflow, losing $19 million on Thursday, December 208,55. The following are Bitcoin Mini Trust from Grayscale and ARKB from ARK and 21Shares, which recorded outflows of $188,6 million and $108,35 million, respectively.

Outflow of funds from spot BTC- ETF

Investors withdrew $87,9 million from Grayscale's GBTC and $43,6 million from Bitwise's BITB. Funds from issuers VanEck and Valkyrie also saw outflows.

BlackRock's IBIT, the largest ETF by net assets, saw zero inflows. WisdomTree's BTCW was the only one ETF , which received about $2 million from investors.

On Thursday, the total trading volume of spot BTC- ETF reached $6,3 billion. This is up from $5,9 billion the day before.

Funds trading Ethereum , also saw outflows of $60,47 million, ending an 18-day streak of inflows.
