Federal Reserve Economic Forecast Summary: Raising Median Interest Rate Expectations and Inflation
On December 19, the Federal Reserve's FOMC economic forecast summary for December was released. The Fed raised its GDP growth expectations for this year and next, lowered its unemployment rate forecasts for these two years, while also raising inflation expectations from 2024 to 2026, as well as comprehensively increasing the median interest rate expectation after this year.
