Microsoft CFO: Microsoft already accepts cryptocurrencies as customer payments and has been thinking about the development of cryptocurrencies
Microsoft shareholders have voted against a proposal to invest in Bitcoin. However, Microsoft's Chief Financial Officer, Amy Hood, stated during the shareholder meeting on Tuesday that Microsoft has been accepting cryptocurrency as customer payments since 2014 and added, "We have been thinking about the development of cryptocurrency." So far this year, Microsoft's stock price has risen by about 19%, which is far less than MicroStrategy's performance.
