on the afternoon of December 10th local time, the South Korean National Assembly passed the "Permanent Special Investigation Law" with 210 votes in favor, 63 votes against, and 14 abstentions, which will investigate the internal turmoil and disturbance of constitutional politics caused by South Korean President Yoon Seok-yeol's late-night launch of "emergency martial law". The investigation targets include South Korean President Yoon Seok-yeol, former Minister of National Defense Jin Yongxian and other key personnel involved in "emergency martial law". The ruling party of South Korea stated today (December 10th) that it will push for President Yoon Seok-yeol to step down early next year and hold early elections, but the opposition party in South Korea stated that it will spare no effort to push for the early impeachment of President Yoon Seok-yeol.
