On December 8, the cryptocurrency market research institute Santiment posted charts on social media showing that several Meme coins quietly made more minor breakthroughs this weekend. For tokens like Dogecoin, Pepe, Dogwifhat and Bonk, whale wallets may continue to push up their market value for a longer period until retail investors FOMO returns. Once the crowd becomes greedy upon hearing the news, whales will sell off and prices usually adjust shortly after.
