Cardano Constitution Accepted: Journey Towards Fully Decentralized Governance
In a significant development, the Constitution Cardano was recently accepted by the Constitution Committee, according to an official statement from IOG and EMURGO, the founders of Cardano. The approval of the Cardano Constitution marks a crucial step in the journey towards fully decentralized governance, Input Output noted in its statement on December 6.
“We have come a long way to make today happen. The Cardano Constitution has been accepted, marking a defining moment in this journey towards fully decentralized governance,” he said.
The Cardano Constitution is a multi-purpose code of principles developed in a unique way to advance the Cardano ecosystem. With the approval of the responsible body, the draft now awaits approval by DReps.

Chang 2: Next major update to Cardano blockchain revealed
A Next Major Update to Cardano (ADA) Blockchain was recently revealed. In a significant advancement for its network, Cardano has launched the first mainnet node that is capable of undergoing the Chang 2 inter-era hard fork. The new major update is called Cardano Node 10.11.
In an official statement released by Intersect, Cardano developers highlighted that the new update is taking the blockchain out of its technical bootstrapping phase and moving it toward full on-chain governance.
Cardano’s new update includes improvements to its governance system, with support for Stake Pool Operator (SPO) delegation to predefined voting options, as well as DRep auto-abstention votes.
