New Record in Bitcoin: Number One Changed in the List of People with the Most Bitcoin! Satoshi Nakamoto Dropped to Second Place!
Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas noted that US spot Bitcoin ETFs have surpassed Satoshi Nakamoto’s BTC holdings in less than a year.
The recent rise in Bitcoin has also had a positive impact on spot Bitcoin ETFs, and inflows to ETFs have increased in recent days.
With the inflows this week, the total number of Bitcoin held in US spot Bitcoin ETFs has surpassed the BTC held by Satoshi Nakamoto.
Bloomberg senior ETF analyst Eric Balchunas stated in a post on his X account that US spot Bitcoin ETFs have surpassed Satoshi Nakamoto's assets in less than a year.
Balchunas said that US spot Bitcoin ETFs have surpassed 1.1 million BTC, marking a significant milestone for the Bitcoin and cryptocurrency markets.
Balchunas added that this significant success in Bitcoin ETFs has been achieved in less than 12 months and that this is just the beginning.
“US spot ETFs have surpassed Satoshi in total Bitcoin holdings, they currently hold over 1.1 million BTC, more than anyone else in the world, and they are not even a year old, they are literally still babies and toddlers.”
Balchunas also announced the institutional platforms that hold the most Bitcoin, and in his list, US spot Bitcoin ETFs came first, Satoshi Nakamoto came second, and Binance came third.
Stating that spot Bitcoin ETFs currently hold 1.104 million BTC, the analyst said that Satoshi Nakamoto holds 1.1 million BTC, and Binance ranks third with 633,103 BTC.
