Standard Chartered Bank: Bitcoin could reach $200,000 by the end of 2025
global head of digital assets research at Standard Chartered Bank, institutional investors have been the main drivers of Bitcoin's capital flow this year, and this trend is expected to continue. Kendrick predicts that Bitcoin could reach $200,000 by the end of 2025, after breaking through $100,000. So far this year, institutions have bought 683,000 BTC through US spot ETFs, and MicroStrategy has bought 245,000 BTC, with a large portion purchased after the US presidential election. Kendrick said, "We expect institutional inflows to maintain or exceed the pace of 2024 by 2025." In addition, the proportion of Bitcoin ETFs held by pension funds is currently small, but it is expected to increase by 2025 due to changes in US regulatory policies.
