Circle announces 6% layoffs and will continue to invest in artificial intelligence
stablecoin issuer Circle Internet Financial Ltd. has announced layoffs as part of its regular operational review. A spokesperson for Circle said that the number of layoffs accounted for less than 6% of the total number of Circle employees. The company will continue to invest in regional growth, efficiency, and productivity driven by artificial intelligence. Circle will regularly review our investments and expenses, including investing in teams and operational infrastructure that need to be developed, while slightly reducing expenses in other areas of business and some positions. In June, Circle stated that the company had 882 employees.
