Virgin Voyages has officially become the first cruise company to accept Bitcoin as a payment method. The company's website says that potential customers can now use the leading cryptocurrency as a payment method. Bitcoin .

BTC can be used to purchase the cruise line’s recently announced annual membership. The product’s base annual rate is priced at $120,000, which guarantees a spot on the ocean terrace.

By purchasing the so-called Annual Pass, including for bitcoins, customers will receive a lot of benefits even taking into account the premium level of services provided.

This decision by the famous entrepreneur Richard Branson is a serious signal in understanding the future of finance.

Interestingly, in 2013, Branson's other company, Virgin Galactic, announced its intention to accept Bitcoin as payment for future space travel.

There is no doubt that over the next couple of years, more companies will follow Virgin Voyages' lead and integrate Bitcoin as a means of payment.
