Recursive Capital's Fund I has announced the completion of a new round of fundraising, which will focus on supporting Bitcoin startups and ecosystem development in the African market. Areas of focus include cryptocurrency infrastructure, mining, and cutting-edge technology. Its current investment portfolio includes Bitcoin financial services Bitnob, Bitcoin collaborative custody platform Fedi, and Lightning Network payment company Synota. The new fund has not disclosed the amount raised, but its investors include Block Chairman Jack Dorsey, former Goldman Sachs partner and Fortress Investment Group Chairman Peter L. Briger Jr., and Ego Death Capital founding partner Jeff Booth.
