Decentralized AI Gets a Boost as SingularityNET Partners with Mina Foundation

SingularityNET, a decentralized AI platform, has teamed up with the Mina Foundation, the organization behind the privacy-centric Mina Protocol, to advance the development of decentralized artificial general intelligence (AGI) while prioritizing privacy through zero-knowledge (ZK) technology.

The collaboration aims to create secure and privacy-preserving AGI applications by leveraging both platforms’ strengths. The focus is on enhancing decision-making AI agents and improving the Internet of Knowledge, a decentralized ecosystem for secure AI knowledge sharing. By combining SingularityNET’s infrastructure with Mina’s ZK-SNARK technology, which enables trustless cryptographic proofs, the partnership looks to address privacy concerns while scaling AI innovations.

The use of ZK-proofs ensures that sensitive data, such as personal information and financial details, can be verified without being exposed. This integration will allow AI agents to function securely, with a focus on preserving user confidentiality, while also laying the groundwork for AGI-powered tools that maintain data integrity.

For developers, the partnership promises to create new decentralized applications, including decision-making AI agents and personalized governance systems. These tools are expected to enhance decentralized decision-making processes and enable more inclusive collaboration between AI agents and identity providers within a secure framework.

SingularityNET’s CEO, Ben Goertzel, has emphasized the potential of decentralized AI to radically improve human life, suggesting that AGI could help abolish material scarcity. However, he also highlighted the importance of decentralizing AI development to ensure that it serves humanity’s best interests.
