Cronos zkEVM looks set to be the next blockchain to play host to the AI agent craze. On Wednesday, November 27, AgentFun.AI went live on the blockchain, allowing users to create and trade tokenized AI agents.

According to AgentFun.AI, users can imbue these AI agents with unique traits and grow fanbases around them. These AI agents will also be able to unlock new abilities as interest in them grows. 

Specifically, at a market cap of $127,100, the agent can interact on Telegram and have a DEX-based liquidity pool . Further, the agent can interact on X at a market cap of $1.27 million.

The project has been tipped to bolster Cronos’ goals of achieving greater integration between AI and blockchain technology. 

"The launch of AgentFun.AI will stimulate adoption and experimentation of the first AI agents on Cronos zkEVM. In the process it will support Cronos’ strategy of becoming a leading AI agent-powered ecosystem. This will encourage other creators to launch AI agent dapps, causing a wave of innovation to flourish on Cronos," the project asserted in a statement.

To create AI agents on Cronos zkEVM, users simply need to head to the AgentFun.AI platform, connect their wallet, and click on “+ New agent.” However, the agent creation process requires some AGENTFUN tokens, which can be purchased on the Cronos zkEVM-based DEX H2 Finance.

Several crypto community members appear to have already jumped on the platform to launch their own agents and speculate on the associated tokens as tokens tied to agents like I AM GROK, Crypto ARENA, and ZKIP rake in thousands of dollars in market cap.
