The announcement noted that while this feature is available to most U.S. users, it is not accessible in Texas and New York due to state-specific regulations. Additionally, users should be aware of any fees associated with crypto transactions on Venmo, as well as the irreversible nature of crypto transfers.

Venmo, a popular digital wallet service, has expanded its offerings to include crypto transfers. This feature enables users to send and receive cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and PayPal USD (PYUSD) within the Venmo platform, enhancing Venmo’s utility for crypto enthusiasts.

To use Venmo for crypto purchases in MetaMask, users can select Venmo as a payment method during the purchase process. This integration streamlines the process of buying crypto, making it more accessible for users familiar with Venmo.
