Phlomis Finance Partners with responsAbility to Expand RWA Investment Options
Phlomis Finance , a real-world asset investment platform built on the Chromia blockchain, has announced a partnership with Zurich-based responsAbility Investments AG . With more than two decades of experience, responsAbility has made a name for itself as a pioneer in impact investing worldwide. With an emphasis on generating impact in developing economies, responsAbility offers investment options to institutional, professional, and retail investors in the Financial Inclusion, Climate Finance, and Sustainable Food sectors.
Through the partnership, Phlomis Finance will be able to provide a variety of responsAbility private debt and equity products for the rapidly expanding real-world asset (RWA) sector via its robust investing platform. Web3 project treasuries and investors seeking higher yields have made investments in private credit lending, tokenized US Treasuries, and other asset classes. Institutions and private investors in digital assets will now have access to a wider range of liquid and longer-term fund options thanks to the Phlomis Finance-responsAbility partnership.
The investing alternatives offered by responsAbility provide both market returns and quantifiable effect. By promoting sustainable economic development, they help reduce poverty by enabling people and companies in developing nations to make money and create employment. Additionally, their significant focus on gender inclusion promotes women’s economic empowerment, which reflects responsAbility’s dedication to achieving important Sustainable Development Goals of the UN.
Documenting all on-chain financial and impact reporting events is one of the collaboration’s main objectives. In order to provide investors with complete transparency and expedited settlement, these transactions include securitization, primary issuance, and secondary trading. Phlomis will record financial and impact transaction data using the Chromia blockchain as a secure data layer. Additionally, it will host its virtual data room for investor-focused document sharing using the Chromia on-chain Filehub solution. Through its venture arm, Phlomis Finance received its first capital from ChromaWay, the company that built Chromia.
Robert Widen, Director of the Nordics for responsAbility added:
“We are excited to work with Phlomis Finance and the ChromaWay team to develop a new channel and paradigm for impact investments tailored to the growing segment of digital asset holders. We believe our investment products, which provide attractive returns with specific, measurable impact, will appeal to digital asset investors.”
Todd Miller, Managing Director for Phlomis Finance commented:
“responsAbility is an innovative leader in the impact asset management space with a proven and consistent performance and impact record. We are excited to work with a fund manager recognized for its quality asset and credit management plus rigorous impact assessment strategies. Combining their expertise in asset management and impact assessment with our technology platform will bring a unique suite of resilient investment offerings to market.”
With a technological platform for investable assets made to prosper in many market conditions, Phlomis Finance is dedicated to resilient investing. Additionally, it defines resilience in terms of the protocols and technologies that support the investment decisions made by both people and organizations. Platforms that use digital currencies, digital signatures for identity verification, and completely on-chain investment transparency, in their opinion, better meet investor demands and boost asset value.
