The total market value of Hong Kong virtual asset ETFs reached 3.6 billion yuan at the end of October
Robby Yung, Head of Securities Product Development at the Hong Kong Exchange, released data showing that the Hong Kong ETP market has achieved excellent results with its diversified product selection, optimized market structure, and international cooperation. It has become the hub of Asia's ETFs, covering 194 products, with a market value of HKD 495 billion at the end of October.
The launch of virtual asset ETFs in Hong Kong opens up a new investment field for investors. Following the listing of Asia's first Bitcoin and Ethereum futures ETFs on the Hong Kong Exchange in 2022, Asia's first virtual asset spot ETF was launched in April this year, followed by Asia's first Bitcoin inverse product in July. Currently, there are 10 virtual asset ETFs listed in Hong Kong, with a total market value of HKD 3.6 billion at the end of October.
