OpenAI among top 4 vendors IT leaders prioritize for investment
According to a report by Flexera on IT priorities for 2025, OpenAI has made its debut and ranked fourth among suppliers targeted for investment in the IT leadership plan, tied with Oracle and second only to Microsoft, Google, and AWS. The report is based on a survey of 800 IT leaders in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, and Australia, and shows that 37% of respondents plan to increase their budget for OpenAI next year.
OpenAI has gained a competitive advantage in the AI consulting field with its ability to cooperate with enterprises and provide customized AI solutions. In addition, 42% of leaders believe that AI integration is key to future enterprise development. Recently, OpenAI has been valued at $157 billion, having previously raised $6.6 billion in financing from investors including Microsoft and Nvidia.
