Musk recruits for the U.S. government's efficiency department: no salary, high IQ, 80 hours a week
On November 15th on November 14th local time, Musk forwarded the recruitment notice of the newly created @DOGE (Government Efficiency Department) account on his X account and wrote: "It has begun." The notice stated: "We don't need people who only provide partial ideas, we need 'small government' revolutionaries with extremely high intelligence (super high IQ) who are willing to work more than 80 hours a week. Please send your resume to this account via private message. Elon and Vivek will review the top 1% of applicants." Musk also forwarded other X users' posts mentioning the notice and commented: "Indeed, this will be tedious work, will create many enemies, and the salary will be zero."
