Massive Cryptocurrency Whale Sells a Big Chunk of Solana (SOL), Then Buys These Two Altcoins
According to crypto onchain data, a major crypto whale sold SOL and then bought two altcoins.
It seems like a big crypto whale has also been caught up in the memecoin wave that has been gaining momentum lately.
According to onchain data provided by Lookonchain, a massive crypto whale sold $2.7 million worth of Solana (SOL) today and bought dogwifhat (WIF) and Bonk (BONK).
The whale wallet used $1.57 million of the funds it received from the SOL sale to buy WIF at an average price of $3.87, and $1.13 million of the funds it received from the SOL sale to buy BONK at an average price of $0.0000387.
When the latest updated data is examined, it is seen that the WIF price is traded at $ 3.99, while BONK is at $ 0.00003782. In other words, the whale wallet has made a profit on the WIF token, but has some losses on BONK.
The memecoin craze is especially felt in the Solana ecosystem. The PNUT token, which was launched recently but still reached a market value of $ 1.82 billion, is also among the altcoins in the Solana ecosystem.
