Bitget Relaunches in the UK After FCA Update
Bitget claims its offering is twice the number offered by other UK exchanges.
Crypto exchange Bitget recently shared some good news with its UK users. The exchange announced that it has relaunched its UK website, allowing users to trade over 150 digital assets.
Bitget noted that the relaunch is part of its ambition to make crypto accessible to more people in the UK, all while keeping everything fully compliant with local regulations . The news comes months after Bitget halted its operations in the UK in a bid to comply with the financial promotions regime in the UK.
Notably, the UK’s Financial Promotions Regime is a rulebook that ensures crypto exchanges operate transparently.

UK Users to Access a Wide Range of Services
Bitget’s relaunch is in partnership with Archax—a UK-regulated company. Thanks to this partnership, Bitget now offers services from crypto trading to secure asset custody. Gracy Chen, Bitget’s CEO, shared that the company is serious about playing by the rules, saying this launch is a step toward being a reliable, compliant partner for UK users.
Chen remarked in a statement , “At Bitget, compliance is the core of our expansion strategy. The entrance into the UK market under the regime allows us to bring users a wide variety of digital assets within the ever-changing crypto landscape. This launch is a step towards establishing Bitget as a long-term, compliant partner in diverse markets, providing investors with a platform to explore digital assets.”
Furthermore, Julia Loder, Head of Regulation at Archax, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “We are dedicated to upholding high standards of the Regime, providing UK investors with access to a transparent trading experience,”
So, this partnership enables Bitget to serve British users under a regulatory framework designed to safeguard fairness and transparency for investors.
As earlier mentioned, Bitget supports over 150 assets for UK users. This provides variety for traders of all levels. In addition, Bitget claims its offering is twice the number offered by other UK exchanges, making it a good platform for locals interested in diversifying their portfolio.
Bitget’s UK relaunch highlights its goal of expanding internationally while respecting local regulations. By aligning its offerings with UK laws, Bitget shows its commitment to growing responsibly in new regions.
