South Korean police uncovered the country’s largest crypto scam, with a YouTuber with 620,000 subscribers as the main culprit
On November 13th, according to Yonhap News Agency, South Korean police have cracked a major fraud case, with the main suspect being a YouTuber with 620,000 subscribers. He lured over 15,000 investors to participate in cryptocurrency trading with false advertising of high profits, involving a total amount of 213 million US dollars. Currently, the police have arrested 12 suspects and applied for the confiscation of 22 bitcoins.
