The French gambling regulator, Autorite Nationale des Jeux (ANJ), is investigating the activities of Polymarket, a crypto-based prediction market. This comes after a French national made successful bets on Polymarket that Donald Trump would win the U.S. election. Polymarket had recorded high betting volumes during the recent U.S. presidential election. ANJ, also known as the National Gambling Authority, is examining the operations of the platform.
