Ripple CEO calls on Trump to quickly reshape US cryptocurrency regulation after taking office
On November 7th, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse congratulated Trump on winning the 2024 election and listed the priorities of the Trump administration's first 100 days, calling for a reshaping of the US SEC and clear regulation of cryptocurrency. Specifically, this includes:
Firing SEC Chairman Gary Gensler on the first day;
Appointing Giancarlo, Brooks or Gallagher to replace him, who will make a huge contribution to rebuilding the rule of law (and reputation) of the SEC;
Pushing the Senate to pass the Digital Asset Market Structure Act.
