KKR and ECP sign $50 billion partnership for data center and power development
On October 31st, KKR signed a strategic partnership with American investment firm Energy Capital Partners (ECP) worth $50 billion. The partnership will focus on accelerating the development of data centers, power generation, and transmission infrastructure to support the expansion of artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud computing globally. KKR will provide funding for the partnership through its existing infrastructure, real estate strategy, and insurance accounts, while ECP will provide funding through its existing and future infrastructure capital pool.
