Yu Weiwen: New projects will be announced at Hong Kong Fintech Week
Eddie Yue, the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, stated that there will be "good news to share soon" regarding mutual access, the Greater Bay Area, and fintech. He also announced that progress on new fintech projects will be revealed during Hong Kong Fintech Week 2024 at the end of the month. Regarding the importance of tokenization development in Hong Kong, Yue stated that if Hong Kong can become a pioneer in tokenization development, forming a mature system of technology, operation, and issuance, then as tokenization becomes more widespread, "business will naturally gather here."
