Matt Huang, co-founder of cryptocurrency investment firm Paradigm, posted on social media that "stablecoins are the next killer application of cryptocurrencies - it is obvious to everyone in the cryptocurrency industry, but not so obvious to the outside world. Congratulations to Stripe and Bridge." Earlier, it was reported that payment company Stripe had acquired stablecoin platform Bridge for $1.1 billion, making it the largest acquisition in the cryptocurrency field.
