Binance executives did not appear in Nigerian court due to serious illness, and the trial was postponed to October 25
Golden Finance reported that Tigran Gambaryan, the compliance chief of Binance, was unable to attend the trial in Nigeria for several months due to his serious illness. Tigran Gambaryan's lawyer, Mark Mordi, requested an adjournment to check his client's health condition. The judge agreed and postponed the trial until October 25th.
Binance's financial crime compliance chief, Tigran Gambaryan, has been detained in Nigeria since February. Last week, a Nigerian court rejected Binance executive Tigran Gambaryan's bail request due to his illness. US lawmakers have claimed that he has been unfairly detained. His lawyer has repeatedly stated that he is in poor health and needs surgery.
