According to Onchain data, Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin made large sales in 6 altcoins.
Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin dumped many altcoins, especially memecoins, in recent hours and bought ETH instead, according to recorded onchain data.
In his transactions in the last hours, Buterin dumped all 6 different memecoins and obtained $633 thousand worth of ETH.
The memecoins and amounts sold by Buterin were recorded as follows:
- MSTR of $281K
- $185,000 POPCAT
- $90,000 ITO
- ETH6900 at $37,800
- $27,900 SATO
- $11,700 Milo
Vitalik Buterin has recently been donating memecoins from his wallet to some charities by selling them. According to estimates, a similar move may come this time too.
It is important to note that none of these altcoins were previously purchased by Buterin, but were sent to him by developers to increase their awareness. Previously, Buterin had donated his SHIB stash, worth more than $1 billion, to a hospital in India, which caused a backlash. Since then, Buterin has not made such a large sale.
