IMDB reveals HBO’s Bitcoin documentary secret: Everyone in the cast is Satoshi
The IMDB page for HBO’s upcoming documentary Money Electric: The Bitcoin Mystery — which claims to reveal the true identity of Bitcoin’s pseudonymous inventor — has blown the secret early: everyone is actually Satoshi Nakamoto.
An IMDB user first changed the documentary’s information page to name someone in the cast as Nakamoto, opening the gate for other users to pile in to change everyone to be the Bitcoin ( BTC ) creator.
The tongue-in-cheek stunt could reference the “We Are All Satoshi” meme, which has gained more attention ahead of the supposed reveal of Nakamoto's identity teased for the documentary.

In the lead-up to the documentary’s reveal , Polymarket betters at times placed American computer scientist Nick Szabo and cryptographer Len Sassaman as the frontrunners as those who would be named Nakamoto.
The bets for “Other/multiple” have taken the lead as the favorite to be revealed as Satoshi, with Blockstream CEO Adam Back having the next highest odds at 10.7%
Sassaman has dropped to 3.7%, and Szabo is at 2.1%.

Leaked clips of the documentary appear to pin former Bitcoin developer Peter Todd as Satoshi Nakamoto, who has denied and questioned the documentary’s producer Cullen Hoback.
Todd is not listed as a possibility on Polymarket, and the leaked clips appear to have spurred on punters to back a person not named on the site.

Only snippets of the upcoming documentary are circulating, and it’s possible Hoback lands on a different person who he thinks is Nakamoto.
Hoback is best known for identifying the person behind the QAnon conspiracy theory in an earlier series for HBO.
HBO’s documentary is set to air at 2:00 am UTC on Oct. 9.
