Chainlink at $11 seen as key buying opportunity by analysts
Chainlink (CRYPTO:LINK) is being labeled by analysts as a rare buying opportunity, with its price consolidating between $9 and $11.
Renowned crypto analyst Michael Van De Poppe has referred to this price range as a "once-in-a-lifetime opportunity" before LINK potentially experiences a major rally.
According to Van De Poppe, Chainlink's current consolidation could lead to a significant price surge, with the token possibly reaching $35.29 and even challenging its all-time high (ATH) of $52.88 in the future.
Chainlink has recently flipped a critical resistance level into support on the weekly chart, reinforcing its bullish outlook.
Van De Poppe emphasised the importance of the ongoing consolidation phase, describing it as a key moment for investors looking to benefit from an anticipated upward breakout.
Chainlink's positive outlook is also supported by Bitcoin’s recent performance, which has shown strength on the 12-hour timeframe.
Bitcoin's price increase by 1%, trading at around $62,188 after dipping to $60,000, is seen as a factor that could boost altcoins like Chainlink.
On October 4, 2024, Chainlink's price rose by 2.37% to $11.37, recovering slightly from a 13% drop earlier in the week.
Despite this recovery, technical indicators suggest that LINK remains under selling pressure, with resistance around $13.46 continuing to pose challenges.
The relative strength index (RSI) remains neutral, indicating mixed momentum in the market.
While some momentum indicators signal potential growth for Chainlink, the ongoing selling pressure could lead to a retracement.
However, analysts like Van De Poppe maintain that the current price range presents a valuable opportunity for investors aiming to capitalise on future gains, particularly if market conditions continue to favor altcoins.
At press time, the Chainlink price was $11.59.
