After the hackers successfully invaded the Deribit hot wallet, they mixed the funds through the Tornado Cash mixer and multiple Ethereum addresses.
US law enforcement officials have also applied to recover about $970,000 of Avalanche-bridged-Bitcoin (BTC.b), which was stolen after Lazarus Group hacked Stake.com gambling platform in 2023. The malicious attack caused Stake more than $41 million in losses.
