Lamborghini brings cars to Web3 games with Animoca, Motorverse partnership
Luxury car manufacturer Automobili Lamborghini has announced a Web3 platform called “Fast ForWorld,” which will allow its cars to be used in blockchain games.
On Oct. 2, the car manufacturer announced a collaboration with Web3 gaming company Animoca Brands. In the announcement, Animoca described the project as Lamborghini’s “first interoperable blockchain-based implementation” of their iconic vehicles in gaming.
The two companies will create a digital collectible platform called Fast ForWorld. The platform will work with Motorverse, an Animoca Brands subsidiary that runs a digital vehicle ecosystem.
Digital lambos for Web3 gamers
The announcement said gamers can buy, sell and drive Lamborghini cars in a range of Motorverse games. These include Torque Drift 2, REVV Racing, the Motorverse Hub and Fast ForWorld’s proprietary experience.
Animoca Brands also highlighted that Fast ForWorld’s first version will go live on Nov. 7. The platform will release a 3D wallet that allows users to store items and a way to interact and play with their digital cars.

Lamborghini first announced its partnership with Animoca Brands on Aug. 8 as an exploration of new Web3-based brand engagement initiatives. The partnership aims to deliver unique Web3 digital experiences to the car manufacturer’s fans and customers.

Yat Siu, co-founder and executive chairman of Animoca Brands, told Cointelegraph that Lamborghini is one of the first brands to embrace the interoperability standards of Motorverse. Siu said:
“This partnership allows us to create a truly interconnected Web3 gaming experience for motorsports fans and gamers alike. Lamborghini collectibles will be easily accessible and playable across various virtual environments, including two of our own motorsports games.”
The executive added that the partnership will serve as a blueprint for interoperable digital vehicles and set a digital engagement standard.
The partnership comes as Web3 games continue to attract millions of users. On July 30, the Telegram clicker game Hamster Kombat announced that it had already onboarded more than 300 million users. Meanwhile, another Telegram clicker game, Catizen, said it reached 800,000 paying users in its first six months.
Puma jumps into Web3 gaming
As gaming continues to attract millions of users, brands are also capitalizing on the success of Web3 gaming. Apart from Lamborghini, shoe retailer Puma recently partnered with the Web3 soccer game UNKJD.
The partnership will integrate Puma’s brand into in-game content, including the creation of Puma-based characters with new skins and skills.
