The Worldcoin Foundation has announced major improvements to its community grant program that will streamline the application process and provide more innovative opportunities for community builders around the world, according to officials. Officials say the foundation is transitioning to a dynamic, continuous application system instead of the previous wave-based structure. This shift allows applicants to submit their proposals at any time, eliminating the need to wait for a specific funding wave. The updated RFP list continues to highlight key areas of Worldcoin's development, including: World ID Applications: creative implementations of World ID that demonstrate its potential for secure, privacy-preserving identity verification in a variety of use cases; Digital Identity Solutions: projects to advance the state of decentralized identities, exploring new methods of identity proofing and user-centric approaches to personal data management and control; Growth Initiatives: projects aimed at expanding the use of Worldcoin as an application system.
