Telos unveils its zkEVM development roadmap, plans to complete mainnet deployment by the end of 2025
On September 26, the Telos Foundation announced its roadmap for the development of its SNARKtor-powered hardware-accelerated Zero Knowledge Ether Virtual Machine (zkEVM). According to Telos, the zkEVM will use TLOS as the native token and rollup on Ether. the first milestone is the deployment of a hardware-accelerated zkEVM on the testnet in Q4 2024, optimized for Fast Fourier Transforms (FFTs) and hash functions. q2 and q3 2025 will see the gradual integration of SNARKtor to improve the zero-knowledge proof verification efficiency, and finally complete full integration on the main network in Q4 2025 to help privacy protection and efficient operation of decentralized applications.
