Road to the Big Game: New Orleans Season-Long Challenges

As New Orleans gears up to host this year’s Big Game, Upland is turning up the excitement with not one, but two thrilling challenges centered around the Big Easy. Whether you’re staking $SPARKLET to help build the city or rallying behind your favorite football team, these events offer players unique opportunities to earn rewards and make their mark in Upland.

The New Orleans Season-Long Staking Challenge

In the first challenge, the goal is simple but ambitious: stake your $SPARKLET to build structures throughout New Orleans over the course of the season.

This challenge is all about coming together as a community to prepare New Orleans for the Big Game by building as many structures as possible. Throughout the season, in addition to standard structures, we’ll be dropping limited-time structures for players to construct.

By working collectively to complete these builds before kickoff, we’ll not only enhance New Orleans within Upland but also unlock special rewards. If we succeed, all participating players will be treated to a special $SPARKLET airdrop event, along with an exclusive commemorative badge, as a celebration of our combined efforts. Both of these challenges end on Feb 5th 2025.

Details

Starting Wednesday September 18th at 9 AM PT, players will need to stake $SPARKLET in New Orleans to help construct as many structures across the city as possible. The more you stake themore you will be rewarded.

The more the community stakes in New Orleans, the more the reward pool grows, giving everyone the chance to earn even more.

• When the entire community collectively stakes 10,000,000 (10 million) SPARK HOURS, the first reward pool of 500,000 $SPARKLET is unlocked.
• Reach a total of 20,000,000 (20 million) SPARK HOURS to unlock the second reward pool of 750,000 $SPARKLET, for a combined total of1,250,000 $SPARKLET.
• Reach a total of 30,000,000 (30 million) SPARK HOURS to unlock the third and final reward pool of 1,000,000 $SPARKLET, bringing the total award pool to 2,500,000 $SPARKLET.

As we work together to prepare New Orleans for the Big Game, your contributions of $SPARKLET will directly impact the size of the airdrop pool you’ll receive.

The more $SPARKLET you stake in building any structures throughout the city, the larger your share of the pool will be.

So make sure you stake as much $SPARKLET as possible and to help build up New Orleans!

The New Orleans Team Score Competition

The second challenge taps into your football team loyalty. This challenge pits each team against each other, with everySpark Hour (SPH) you accumulate by staking $SPARKLET in New Orleans contributing to your favorite team’s success.

Your team will automatically be whichever you have the overall highest Fan Score for. A snapshot will be taken on WednesdayOctober 2nd between 9–10 AM PT, so make sure the team you want to support has the highest Fan Score by then.

After the snapshot, all your Spark Hours will count toward your team’s success!

Each professional football team will be ranked weekly based on their total SPH. The top team will earn 32 points, with each subsequent team earning one less point down the rankings. This team leaderboard will be updated every Wednesday during the season.

At the end of the season, the top-ranked teams will share the Team Challenge airdrop pool as follows:

• 1st Place Team: 50% of the team challenge airdrop pool
• 2nd Place Team: 30% of the team challenge airdrop pool
• 3rd Place Team: 20% of the team challenge airdrop pool

The top 100 players who stake the most for the winning team will earn an exclusive, team-colored Go Kart, designed to showcase your team pride in style!
