Telefónica Tech joins Polygon's Privado ID and becomes a system integrator
Spanish telecommunications giant Telefónica has now become a system integrator for Polygon's identity solution Privado ID. According to the announcement on September 10, Telefónica Tech, the digital business division of Spanish Telecom, will integrate Privado ID's toolkit into its hosted blockchain service TrustOS. This collaboration aims to develop proof-of-concept for various digital identity use cases, including age verification, digital national identity, electronic signature solutions and content authentication. Currently, Europe is preparing to implement the "European Digital Identity Regulation". The framework proposed by the EU aims to provide citizens, residents and businesses with digitized and universally recognized digital identities in order to access public services and conduct transactions.
