Bloomberg ETF Analyst: Over 1000 institutional holders of Bitcoin spot ETFs have emerged within two quarters of listing
ChainCatcher news, Bloomberg senior ETF analyst Eric Balchunas posted on social media saying, "Bitcoin spot ETFs have over 1000 institutional holders in just two 13F reporting periods. This is unprecedented.
IBIT alone has 661 institutional holders, with 20% of the shares held by institutions and large advisors, which is expected to reach 40% in the next 12 months. This is really quite peculiar."
It's reported that Form 13F is a document that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) requires certain institutional investors to submit regularly. According to regulations, investment management companies with assets under management exceeding $100 million (including hedge funds, pension funds and other large investment institutions) must submit this report to the SEC every quarter.
