Analysts Name an Altcoin as the Market Falls: “Whales Are Focusing On This”
While a general decline continues in the cryptocurrency market, Santiment analysts announced the altcoin that whales are focusing on.
Cryptocurrency analysis company Santiment focused on an old but not forgotten altcoin in a new analysis it recently published.
According to analysts, Litecoin (LTC) is currently seeing higher whale activity compared to the end of August.
LTC, the world’s 19th largest cryptocurrency, has also seen a huge explosion in its mentions on social media platforms. While some traders have turned their noses up at it for being old-fashioned, Santiment analysts say it’s still worth considering.
LTC, which also holds the title of the world's oldest altcoin, emerged in 2011 when Bitcoin was on the stage alone. Aiming to bring a new breath to cryptocurrency mining, which was GPU-heavy at the time, Litecoin adopted a CPU-focused mining type.
LTC price has lost 4.48% in the last week, which is actually a better value than Bitcoin.
