Sun Yuchen: Tron network has no MEV mechanism, prevents 98% of preemptive trading
Tron founder Sun Yuchen said in a post on the X platform in response to community feedback on preemptive trading that, after investigation, the Tron network does not have a MEV (Maximum Extractable Value) mechanism, and is significantly ahead of Ether and Solana in preventing robotic preemption, stopping about 98% of preemptive trades.
Sun emphasised that Tron's super-representative nodes have not implemented any MEV mechanisms and that no one is able to prioritise transactions through price manipulation or other methods. Officially, any form of preemptive trading assistance is strictly prohibited, and the so-called MEV trades found by the community are mostly failure scenarios, where bots use probabilistic methods to try to take advantage of victims.
