Stuart Alderoty, Chief Legal Officer of Ripple, posted on social media, "Cryptocurrency securities - this term cannot be found in any legal system, it is a fictional term without legal basis. The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) should stop using it to mislead judges."
