OpenSea officials stated that they were shocked by the actions taken by the US Securities and Exchange Commission to threaten creators and artists, and we are ready to stand up and fight for our industry. In order to ensure that creators can continue to innovate without fear, OpenSea promises to provide $5 million to pay legal fees for NFT artists and developers who have received Wells notices.
