Crypto firm Prometheum plans to treat UNI and ARB tokens as securities and include them in its custody service
According to CoinDesk, controversial cryptocurrency company Prometheum plans to treat the tokens of Uniswap (UNI) and Arbitrum (ARB) as securities and include them in its custodial services. As a registered cryptocurrency platform with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Prometheum is expanding its custodial business and will hold UNI and ARB in addition to Ethereum's ETH. Despite disagreements within the cryptocurrency industry regarding the SEC's position on tokens as securities, Prometheum has chosen to comply with the regulatory agency's requirements and plans to officially launch its custodial services in September.
