Casper test network low bid transactions surge, the team urgently fixed and adjusted fees
The MAKE team discovered a sudden spike in transaction volume on the Casper Testnet, where tens of thousands of low-bid transactions invoking the auction contract's add_bid function were being submitted, resulting in an increase in CPU load and storage consumption on the chain.
Casper Association and Casper Labs intervened urgently to fix the vulnerability, and raised the cost of add_bid to 3500 CSPR through an update, while setting a minimum bid requirement of 10000 CSPR.
This incident did not affect the main network and funds are safe.
