Conduit has transferred ownership of some L1 contract upgrade keys to the Optimism Security Committee
On August 9th, Conduit, a startup company in the encryption infrastructure, tweeted that it had transferred ownership of the upgrade keys for 3 OP Stack Chain L1 contracts deployed on Conduit to the Optimism Security Committee. The three OP Stack Rollups participating in the key handover this week are Mode, Zora, and Metal L2.
Earlier, it was reported that Optimism will introduce a governance system in Season 5. Collective will launch the "House of Citizens" and conduct the first round of "House of Union" voting. In addition, the Optimism Security Committee will be established, which will be composed of a group of community members and tasked with executing protocol upgrades according to governance wishes.
