Deribits largest transaction today: A user sold a year-end BTC $65,000 call option and bought a $10,000 call option

Odaily News According to data released by Deribit officials, a user sold a $65,000 call option for Bitcoin at the end of the year today, and bought a $100,000 call option at the end of the year. A total of 551 BTC, with a premium of $4.89 million. Deribit officials explained that the user may hold a large amount of BTC, and if BTC does not rise or falls, the premium can be used as a hedge. If BTC rises sharply, the 100,000 call option hedges against extreme risks.
