On July 23, 2024, it was reported online that there is an "evil video" vulnerability in Telegram on Android devices. This vulnerability allows attackers to send malware disguised as videos. If users click on these video files, they risk having their devices controlled or data stolen.
Affected devices and versions:
Android devices Telegram <= 10.14.4
Telegram has now released a secure version that fixes this vulnerability. Bitget strongly recommends that you upgrade Telegram to the latest version as soon as possible.
