U.S. Senator withdraws support for Elizabeth Warren's anti-cryptocurrency bill
On July 24 local time, Republican Senator Roger Marshall withdrew his support for the "Digital Assets Anti-Money Laundering Act", a bill he co-drafted with Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren in 2022, aimed at regulating the cryptocurrency industry under existing anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing frameworks. Currently, according to the official congressional directory on this bill, there are still 18 senators supporting it.
